1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how AR Anime Drawing: Sketch & Trace handles information when you use AR tracing, template browsing, lessons, favorites, media export, and profile features.
The app is published by Neon Atelier. We designed it to work primarily on-device, while ads and (when enabled) purchase flows rely on third-party SDK providers.
2. Data We Process
We may process these categories of data:
- Local app data on your device: favorites, lesson progress, temporary/permanent unlock state, notification history, language/theme/settings, and subscription flags.
- Media data you create or choose: imported images, captured screenshots, recorded videos, and related thumbnails/metadata.
- Support communications: data you include if you email us (for example your email address and message content).
- Ad and anti-fraud signals handled by ad partners (for example device/app identifiers, network information, and IP address).
- Purchase-related data handled by billing providers when in-app purchases/subscriptions are enabled (for example purchase tokens and transaction metadata).
3. Permissions and Why They Are Used
- CAMERA: for live AR tracing preview and capture features.
- RECORD_AUDIO: only when you record videos with audio.
- READ_MEDIA_IMAGES / READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (legacy): to import images from your gallery.
- POST_NOTIFICATIONS: to send local reminders and activity notifications.
- VIBRATE: for haptic feedback on controls.
- INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, AD_ID: required by ad mediation/ad network SDKs.
4. Ads and Third-Party SDKs
The app integrates ad mediation and ad network SDKs, including Unity LevelPlay mediation and adapters/networks such as AdMob (Google), Unity Ads, and Meta Audience Network.
These providers may process technical identifiers and network/device metadata to serve, measure, and protect ad delivery. Their processing is governed by their own privacy terms.
5. Billing and Purchases
The app includes Google Play Billing dependencies. If/when purchase flows are enabled, billing providers may process transaction and anti-fraud data needed for purchase validation, renewals, cancellations, and compliance.
Purchase management, including cancellations/refunds, is generally handled through your Google Play account according to Google Play policies and local law.
6. Where Data Is Stored
Most app-state data is stored locally on your device (for example Room database and SharedPreferences).
- Captured images are saved in Pictures/NeonAtelier.
- Exported videos are saved in Movies/NeonAtelier (or app-scoped storage fallback where needed).
- Temporary processing files may be created in app cache/internal directories.
7. Notifications
Notifications are scheduled locally using Android WorkManager and only if notifications are enabled in app settings (and system permission is granted where required).
8. Data Sharing
We do not require account sign-up in the app and we do not run a user-profile backend for core app usage.
Data may still be processed by third parties when their SDKs/services are used, including ad providers, billing infrastructure, and email providers when you contact support.
9. Retention
Local app data and media remain until you remove them. Retention examples:
- App data persists until you clear app storage or uninstall.
- Photos/videos persist until deleted from your gallery/storage.
- Third-party providers (ads/billing) may retain records per their legal/compliance requirements and policies.
10. Your Choices and Controls
- Revoke permissions anytime in Android system settings.
- Turn notifications on/off in app settings and system notification settings.
- Delete media from gallery/file manager apps.
- Clear app storage to reset local databases/preferences.
- Manage subscriptions/purchases in Google Play settings.
11. Security
We use reasonable technical measures for local data handling. No method of storage/transmission can be guaranteed 100% secure, so we encourage you to keep your device and account security settings up to date.
12. Children's Privacy
If you believe a child provided personal information through support channels, contact us and we will review and handle the request under applicable law.
13. International Processing
Third-party service providers may process data in countries outside your own. Where applicable, those providers are responsible for implementing transfer safeguards under their legal obligations.
14. Policy Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect product, legal, or provider changes. The updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised "Last updated" date.
